Dungeon Quest Reborn potential

Dungeon Quest Reborn Potential Guide

Potential is used by players to compare an item's roll, but this wiki has not yet verified a complete current formula or universal cutoff for high pot and god pot.

What “pot” means

In current player discussion, pot is shorthand for potential: a way to talk about how strong an item’s roll is relative to its possible range. “High pot” and “god pot” are player-value terms, not evidence of a fixed official category unless the current client labels them that way.

The practical lesson is simple: two copies of the same named item may not be equally desirable. Compare the actual card and its relevant build stat.

What is not verified yet

We do not currently publish a full minimum/maximum formula, rarity-color formula, or universal percentage threshold. Those claims are especially vulnerable to legacy contamination. A range from the older Dungeon Quest can guide research, but it cannot be presented as Reborn fact without a current item sample.

How to compare items now

  1. Match the item name, required level, rarity, and build path.
  2. Compare the relevant base or displayed stat on complete cards.
  3. Record upgrade state; a fully upgraded card should not be compared blindly with a fresh item.
  4. Keep screenshots dated and uncropped.
  5. Treat trade offers as market observations, not permanent prices.

High pot versus useful gear

A stronger roll can be valuable, but an item that does not fit your active Physical or Spell path may still be less useful to you than a lower-traded item that completes the build. Separate personal progression value from collector or trade value.

This page is live early because players are already using the terms. It will gain formulas only when current evidence can support them.
